The Level 7 Diploma allows learners to acquire a broader range of knowledge and understanding and to develop the key skills they require to work as a senior manager. This is done through learning in 8 mandatory units, total 120 credits.The program provides an opportunities for learners to acquire knowledge and understanding and develop a range of skills, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in working life.
1. ORGANISATIONAL BEHAVIOUR
- This unit aims to explore the importance of different forms of organisational behaviours in organisational effectiveness and efficiency. To understand the importance of organisational form, culture, motivation, creativity and leadership
2. GLOBAL BUSINESS STRATEGY
- This unit amis to explore the strategic responses of organisations to the rapidly changing global business environment. To understand the strategies and processes used to manage international businesses in differing geographical and cultural situations, and to understand the importance of managing within a framework of corporate social responsibility.
3. STRATEGIC RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
- This unit aims to explore the mechanisms for managing resources to achieve the business aims of the organisation. To understand the roles and strategies used in acquiring, managing, and developing human, physical and technological assets. To understand the importance of marketing in achieving business aims and objectives, and the roles, strategies and processes used to manage the marketing function.
4. FINANCE FOR STRATEGIC MANAGERS
- This unit aims to develop financial skills required to assess and manage finance at a strategic level within a business. To explain the different business structures and financial reporting requirements.
5. RESEARCH FOR SENIOR MANAGERS
- This unit aims to develop the skills required to carry out research on a business related project or issue and analyse and report the results of research.
6. PROGRAMME LEADERSHIP
- This unit aims to develop the skills to be able to manage a programme of related projects and critically evaluate elements of the programme.
7. RISK MANAGEMENT
- This unit aims to raise business risk awareness and develop knowledge and understanding in the assessment, monitoring and control of business risks. To enable the learner to develop an appreciation of the implications of business risks.
8. STRATEGIC PLANNING
- Exploring the skills and competencies necessary to develop an organisational strategic plan.
Age: above 19 years old And
Academic Requirements: any one of the following:
1)Undergraduate Level in the field of Business/Management/Administrative Management/Finance/Accounting;
2)OR ATHE Level 6 Diploma in Management/Business and Administrative Management;
English Language requirements: CET 4 with a Pass;
Or pass the Windsor English Test for Postgraduate Level (obtained at least 50% of total mark)
Or Equivalent Level with a Pass (obtained at 50% of total mark);
