1.AutoCad for Construction

- This module will cover following topics: basic drawing, editing, making text notes, plotting the construction plan, creation and application of tiles, by using the AutoCAD. Examples will be introduced for better learning effect, and the case study helps students for consolidation of the knowledge.

 

2. Building Drawing Knowledge

- This module covers following topics: This module covers following topics: the introduction view and draw projection sketch, basic of projections, axonometric projection, the elevation and sections, Architectural and structural detail, construction related drawing, basic of AutoCAD, understanding and reading engineering drawings.

 

3. Business Law

- This unit covers the basic concepts of the legal system in Singapore. It will discuss about the different components of business law including legal system in Singapore, contract law, Tort of negligence, and company law.

 

4. Architectural Decoration and Interface

- This module covers following topics: summary of architectural construction program, fixing partition wall, curtain wall; finishing structural floors, staircases, ceilings and roof, installation door frame and window frame, decoration bath room, kitchen and others location.

 

5. Human Resource Management for Construction

- This unit provides students with the knowledge of the different activities used in building human resources within an organization. This includes recruitment & selection management, designing compensations and benefits programs, planning for training & development of staffs. This unit also include the topic of the Human resource Practices in contemporary building and construction industry.

* Applicant must have any 3 subjects pass with grade C6 or above at GCE O Level exam;

OR upper secondary school/high school cert,

 

* Language Requirement：9 years' formal education taught in Mandarin Chinese OR GCE ‘O’ Level Passed Chinese subject (minimum C6).
