1. Hospitality and Tourism Management
- The unit aims to give students a comprehensive understanding of the evolution and development of tourism; different forms of tourism demand; the concept of tourism supply and the tourism supply chain; the economic, socio-cultural and environmental impact of tourism; sustainable tourism and tourism planning and tourism forecasting and future trends.
2. Research Project
- This unit aims to help students understand the different types of research methods and allows them to apply the methods in their research project which will be assigned to them. Students are allowed to choose the topic or organisation they wish to research on for this unit.
3. Marketing
- This unit introduces students to the concepts of marketing. In addition, the mechanism of the marketing process is also discussed with extensive coverage on topics of the marketing mixes, i.e. product, price, promotions and distribution.
4. Organisational Behaviour
- This unit provides students with the knowledge of how an organization can be organized and managed. In addition, students will also be taught on organizational theories of leadership, motivation, group theories and change management.
5. Business Communication II
- This unit equips students with the essential skill of business communication including writing of letter, reports, minutes, memorandums and electronic mails. Other skills include presentations, listening and management of meetings.

* The candidate must pass three GCE 'O' Level 3 Pass (C6)subjects
OR graduate from a recognized High School;
OR holds a Diploma or Certificate;
OR equivalent qualification
* Language Requirement for English-taught class:candidate must pass the English Placement Test OR must hold a Certificate in English Level 3 OR Equivalent.
* Language Requirement for Chinese-taught class:Minimum 9 years formal education in Chinese OR GCE O Level Chinese Pass.
