Advanced Diploma in Business Management
1. Business Information for Decision Making
– This unit will cover the role, value and sources of information needed in order to make management decisions. Learners will also gain an understanding of how this information is gathered and used.
2. Human Resource Management
– This unit will enable learners to understand how to manage individuals and teams. They will study organisational factors and how these impact on and influence individual and team behaviour, as well as learning management tools and techniques to help them effectively manage individuals and teams.
3. Marketing Principles
– This unit aims to develop knowledge and understanding of general marketing principles and their application in business.
4. Financial Analysis
– The unit aims to equip learners with the knowledge and understanding of the financial analysis in organisations and how to evaluate and interpret financial data.
5. Society and Business Ethics
– This unit will enable the learner to develop knowledge and understanding of business ethics and the effects ethics can have on organisations and society, including planning and the management of their goals and activities.
6. Research Project
– This unit aims to develop learner’s skills in formulating an appropriate research question and to design and undertake a research project to answer that research question. The learner will also need to interpret the outcomes of their research and present them to an audience.
7. Operations Management
– The aim of this unit is to develop learners’ understanding of the nature of the operations function, its impact on business success, the tools and techniques and ethical considerations in business operation.
8. Business Organization and Globalization
– This unit aims to equip learners with the knowledge and skills in reviewing the issues currently impacting on business organisations.
Students must be at least 18 years old with:
A recognized Diploma in Business field Or Diploma in other fields with 2 years experiences;Any other qualification/s will be considered on a case to case basis.
Language Requirement:A Pass in GCE O Level English or Certificate in English Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
Students must be at least 18 years old with:
A recognized Diploma in Business Management; or a recognized Diploma from other field with 2 year’s work experiences.Any other qualification/s will be considered on a case to case basis.
Language Requirement: A Pass in GCE ‘O’ Level Chinese OR recognised Certificate in Business field taught in Mandarin.
Student must obtain at least a pass grade for all modules of the Advanced Diploma in Business Management

Advanced Diploma in Business Management (Mandarin) and Advanced Diploma in Business Management are two different courses, and applicants can apply for any or both of them based on his/her language proficiency;
